Mr Hans Rosling and his Trendalyzer (A.K.A Gapminder)

One of the most amazing data visualization tool i've seen. Basically this lecture got me started on this topic!

He's done some research on World Health, and developed this tool (yeah, Google guys bought it!), using mostly data from UN and other international sources that people had a hard time to access. He also lectures on TED about it!!
